Introduction to Hypnosis

Hypnosis can easily be described as therapy performed in a hypnotic state. Within this form of therapy, we have a philosophy that is based on three separate parts of our senses, ie the conscious, the subconscious and the unconscious mind. The conscious mind is our short-term memory, it is very slow and handles a maximum of 5% of our daily activity. We as humans believe that we make the most of it, but that is not the case. The interesting thing is that on a conscious level we believe that we have full control over ourselves. But our conscious mind is actually our weakest mind, it is easily overloaded, (always too late will quickly forget).

The subconscious is lightning fast unlike our conscious mind. Under hypnosis, the subconscious is processed to produce effects in the conscious.
Areas such as smoking, weight loss, depression, self-esteem, anxiety are just some of the things that can be successfully affected by hypnosis.
